Position Roles and Responsibilities Skills

Senior Sales Executive

Breinigsville, PA

Adhere to FOM sales processes per company guidelines, including, but not limited to: contacting current and prospective customers to discuss products, services, and offer quotes; qualify potential customers; follow-up on order cycle (references, parts, inventory, purchase order numbers); follow-up with customers after product delivery.

  • Keep an updated calendar and history of pending activities with all active accounts
  • Keep accurate notes about activity with all activity within an account
  • Be able to communicate to VP of Sales and Sales Manager prudent lead information
  • Understand customer needs and how FOM offerings can fit specific needs
  • Gather information that will help build a business relationship with customer
  • Visit customer locations to further develop business relationships when needed
  • Generate new business while nurturing and maintaining existing customer relationships
  • Initiate the sales process by prospecting, scheduling appointments, making presentations, understanding business needs, follow-ups, closing sales, and obtaining referrals
  • Utilize resources including but not limited to email, phone, Skype, and WebEx to interact with customers on a daily basis
  • Calculate and tender quotations and proposals to new and existing customers
  • Work closely with sales management to uncover additional strategies to close opportunities and assist during or following a sales presentation, quote or proposal
  • Develop and maintain customer relationships within a defined territory; identify and anticipate customer needs, think creatively and critically to solve problems
  • Work closely with an assigned Sales Support Associate to provide technical support, lead generation and follow ups in order to meet the territory sales and retention goals
  • Daily and weekly reporting requirements to both sales management and assigned Sales Support Associate
  • Work with management to develop a future sales plan for additional services that will further benefit your customer base
  • Attend regularly scheduled sales and product trainings
  • A minimum or two years experience in professional sales, business development, or managing customer relations
  • High school diploma required; college degree a plus but not required with equivalent sales or technical field experience
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work well independently with minimal direct supervision
  • Strong speaking and interpersonal skills
  • Strong situational leadership skills, closing and follow-up abilities
  • Analytical, decision-making and management skills

Application Development for FiberBase (Mapping & Asset Management) Software.

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or GIS with emphasis on application development.
  • At least 1 years of application development with Microsoft products and at least 1 years C# and ADO.NET experience.
  • At least one years experience in development with RDMBS including either ORACLE or MS SQL Server.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Must be presentable in business / professional environment in both appearance and demeanor.
