Product Description

Video Inspection Probe 200/400x, 4-pin Out

FBP series probe scopes revolutionized the industry by providing a compact design that fits in the palm of your hand, rugged drop-tested performance, and precision tips that positively mate with the interface device so the fiber is easy to locate and examine. Competitive designs utilize poorly conceived tips and require extensive user training before they can be used in service. A complete inspection system requires a probe (video microscope), a tip suitable for the connector you are inspecting, and a display. Over the years our product line has grown to offer many choices for probes, displays and tips.

The FBP series is the industry standard and occupies a massive market share due to its proven overall performance. Our most common model features dual magnification with a quick change magnification wheel that requires only a touch of refocus when changing magnification. Value priced single-magnification models are also available.

FBP probes available in either 4-pin or 6-pin versions. The 6-pin models include a quick capture button that, when used in conjunction with a 6-pin USB module, allow for single-handed operation with a PC.

Knowledgebase: Features dual 200/400x magnification and a 4-pin output to interface with a FBP-HD1 handheld display, "FBP-VO" series video output module, or FBPP-USB3 USB 1.1 module. A converter cable (not included) allows you to connect the FBP-P1 to a FBP-HD2 display. 4-Pin Modules: These modules are small slim-line boxes that accept the input from the standard 4-pin Analog probes, and output to a USB connector. Video Inspection Probe is a portable, video microscope used to inspect fiber optic terminations. More specifically, the FBP is used to inspect hard-to-reach connectors that are installed on the "backside" of patch panels or inside hardware devices. It eliminates the need to access the backside of patch panels or disassemble hardware devices prior to inspection. http://www.westoverfiber.com/images/dbProdThumb/prod902img331.jpg
